Terms and Conditions

• Insurance: we are insured with Protectivity Insurance to provide dog walking for up to six dogs, training, pet sitting, pet minding, pet transportation taxi, dog and cat grooming. In the event of accidental damage to third parties' property to the limit of £1,000,000 for any one event.

• House sitting deposits: are required for all house sitting bookings and are non refundable upon the clients cancellation of the booking. The deposit is approx a third of the overall house sitting fee and will be invoiced once a booking is agreed upon. The house sitting booking is not confirmed until the deposit is paid in full.

• Pet care visits: we may ask for a part payment towards any longer bookings of a week plus or payment in full for shorter bookings to confirm and hold the dates.

• Cancellation policy: Pet and house sitting, any deposit paid is non refundable upon clients cancellation of the booking. Changes and amendments to booked house and pet sitting, whilst we will always try and accommodate any slight alterations to an existing booking that you may have with us, please be aware if the booking is being significantly changed i.e reduced by several days in length we will deduct a percentage from the deposit paid to reflect the reduction in the stay that was originally booked.

• CCTV cameras and recording devices: Homeowners should disclose any external and internal camera surveillance and pet monitoring systems to include audio sound recording technologies before any house sitting booking is agreed upon, any internal cameras and recording devices should be disabled for the duration of the house sitting.

• In the event of inclement weather or natural disaster Sarah's Pet Care Services is entrusted to use best judgement in caring for your pet(s) and shall be held harmless for any consequences related to such decisions.

• In the event of personal emergency or illness to the assigned pet sitter the client authorises Sarah's Pet Care Services to arrange another authorised pet sitter.

• It is the responsibility of the clients to inform their own insurers they have engaged the services of Sarah's Pet Care Services to provide a pet and house sitting service. Most insurers welcome the use of a house sitter.

• Sarah's Pet Care Services is authorised by the client to seek veterinary care with release from all liability for treatment expenses. Although Sarah's Pet Care Services will take every reasonable care always, due to the unpredictability of animals, Sarah's Pet Care Services will not be held liable for the death or injury of pet(s) or animals.

• Use of our services is deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.
